Hi, my name is Ahmad Dia, I live in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and have a basic and theoretical (read: hobby-like) understanding of system dynamics; no formal training beyond reading and a mini course or two. I work in the Ministry of Economy & Planning as an advisor.
I initially signed up for the Europe time zone before summer plans materialized, so if I’m in the US I’ll be joining the US time zone.
Biggest hope is that I’ll gain a firmer grasp of system dynamics. Biggest fear (other than self-confidence in being able to contribute meaningfully within the course) is not finding an actual outlet for the knowledge gained and actually being able to practice this somewhere somehow.
Thinking in systems makes sense to me on a visceral level, but it would be great to add more logic/reason to it all and have a solid foundation to build off of.
