Tips

Nationbuilding

  • Small/medium economies: Prioritize Mission Control first, then shift to Boost and Funding once MC is where you need it
  • Always keep Economy and Knowledge running — these compound over time and underpin everything else
  • Unrest
    • Add Welfare when inequality is high (>3), Unity when cohesion is low (<5)
    • Keeping roughly 10–30% of priorities pointed at stability-oriented categories (Unity, Welfare, Knowledge in that order) helps keep nations from degrading over time.
    • Faction popularity and faction control matching up is better for cohesion.
  • Prioritize Mission Control, then Boost once that’s stable.
  • Spoils — skip it. It degrades both your nation’s economy and the global economy, and it’s not worth the risk of triggering a coup.

Other Missions to do early on

  • High Admin person does Hostile Takeovers: Do some investigating and spamming Hostile Takeovers to get orgs, especially those that give admin.
  • High Persuasion person does (Control) and Public Campaigns: Good for taking over places.
  • Purge: If you want to kick them out of nations you care about.
  • High Military person does Crackdown/Stabilize: use military councilors to keep your nations in check.
